A Memorial Service for Clyde Jones, 56, Charlotte, North Carolina resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 21, 2012 in the Arapaho First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Dean Brookshier and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Clyde William Jones was born October 30, 1955 to Perry Rufus Jones and Helen (Towner) Jones in Atlanta, GA and passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Jones was raised and attended school in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from high school in 1974 and continued his education at the University of Alabama graduating in 1978 and finished his Master’s in 1980. He has been in the insurance industry for the past 35 years. He started with St. Paul Insurance Company and was currently Senior Vice President of Technology at One Beacon in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was married to Evelyn Koeniger on November 24, 1984 in Metairie, L.A. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He enjoyed cooking, football, fly-fishing, golfing and was an avid University of Alabama fan. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of the home, a daughter, Nicole Milgate and husband, Brian, and a son, Tim Morgan and wife, Tamra, all of Charlotte, North Carolina, his mother, Helen Jones, Arapaho, brother, Perry Jones and wife, Cynthia, Oreland, PA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Rorie Owens, Addyson Morgan, Gavin Milgate, and Gage Milgate; niece, Courtney Jones and nephew, Nicholas Jones and wife, Melissa and their daughter, Abigail Jones.
