Cynthia Donna (Whiteskunk) Riggs

Funeral Services have been set for Cynthia Donna (Whiteskunk) Riggs "Voeseh'e" (Happy Women) for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Hammon High School Auditorium, with Ramus Hicks and Gerald Panana officiating, burial will follow in the Hammon Indian Mennonite Cemetery, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. The wake service has been set for Tuesday at the Hammon Community building from 7-10 P.M. Cynthia was born July 25, 1957 in Elk City, Ok to Lyle and Evelyn (Miles) Redbird, and passed away Saturday August 16, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok. Cynthia was raised and went to school in Hammon, graduating in 1975. She married Allen Riggs on November 19, 2008. She loved gardening sewing and laughing. She worked as a R.N. several places including Lawton IHS, Oklahoma City IHS, and most recent was Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by both parents, and 3 brothers, Danny Redbird, Rupert Whiteskunk, and Avery Whiteskunk. She is survived by her husband Allen Riggs, 4 daughters LaDonna Rodriquez, of New Mexico, Sara and her husband Luay Shayya, of Cleveland Ohio, Laila Shadaram also of Cleveland, and Sierra and her husband Kendrick Sleeper of El Reno, Ok., 4 sisters, 7 Brothers, 5 grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
