Graveside Services for Donna Rae Crane, 81, Custer City resident will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the Independence Cemetery near Custer City, OK, officiated by Pastor Barry Smith and Pastor Dan Johnson and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Donna Rae (Altman) Crane was born April 11, 1942, to Clifford Eugene “Kit” Altman and Ocie Berry in Huntington Park, Los Angels County, CA and passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, in her Custer City, OK home.
She was raised in El Monte, CA and graduated El Monte High School in 1960. She married Cary Lee Crane on September 1, 1961, in El Monte, CA. She was employed with Pacific Bell P.B.X. Operator while in California. They moved to Custer City, OK in 1980 and she worked in the Dietary Department of the Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was also the owner and operator of the Trails End Restaurant in Custer City.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist, she loved gardening, bird watching, cooking and spending time with her neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Altman, grandparents, Jacob and Hattie (Combs) Altman and Arthur and Anna (Taylor) Berry.
She is survived by her husband, Cary Lee Crane, of the home, daughter, Susan Lynn Crane, Clinton, OK, son, Steven Forest Crane and wife Frances, Custer City, OK and brother, James Altman and wife, Jan, Thayne, WY; .seven grandchildren, Bill Crane and wife, Kara, Marcus Odum, Jordan Crane and wife, Amanda, Kenya Crane, Aaron Golden, Me’Lisa Burgess and Nicole Ybarra and husband, Fabian and ten great-grandchildren, Madison Lovelace, Lexi Lovelace, Lily Crane, Zoey Crane, Kitti Odom, Hazel Crane, Seth Yeager, Caleb Yeager, Shay Yeager and Alexis Henderson.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Barbie Mack, Robert Altman, Jr., Jackie Aubrey and husband, Mark, Debbie Altman, Cathy Reffner and husband, Jeff, Cheryl Huber and husband, Eddie, Jennifer VanHuysen and husband, Duane, Ocie Hoopes and husband Willie, and numerous great grand nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and friends including special friend and honorary family members, Clay Hooper and Carolyn Fletcher and daughter in law, Mary “Tootie” Moore.
