Georgia "Sue" Barton

A Funeral service for Georgia "Sue" Barton, 75, of Arapaho, has been set for 2:00 P.M., Thursday in at the Arapaho First Baptist Church, with Pastor Vann Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Sue was born July 1, 1941 in Earth, Texas, to Gorge C. and Vada Pauline (Price) Harrington, and passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in the United Methodist Nursing Home, in Clinton. Sue was raised in Earth, Texas until the 7th grade and then moved to Taytum, New Mexico, to finish out her school. In 1968 she came to Clinton, and attended Aladdin Beauty College, and obtained her cosmetology license, and instructor's license. She worked at several places as a beautician, including her own salon and the Cordell Christian Home, Altera Nursing Home, and the Clinton Veterans Center. She was an instructor for Alladin Beauty College in Clinton. On June 2, 1981, Sue Married Larry Barton, in Wheeler, Texas, and they made their home together in Arapaho, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Arapaho First Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family, and doing Hair for others. She was preceded in death by parents, and her sister, Jean Lewis. She is survived by her husband Larry, of the home, 3 sons Christopher Barton, of Arapaho, John Dean Butler, and his wife Noki, of Thailand, and Bobby Butler, of California, two grandsons Grayson Ruth, of Franklin, Texas, and Jacob Butler, of Thailand, and nephew Steve Lewis, of Texas.
