Nellie Ann Littleman

Funeral Services for Nellie Ann Littleman, 73, Hammon resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in the Community Fellowship Church in Hammon, OK, officiated by Rev. Mona Bearsheild and Doan Ivey. Burial will follow in Hammon Indian Mennonite Cemetery under eth direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. There will be a traditional Indian Wake Service, 7:00 P.M. till 10:00 P.M., Monday, March 4, 2019 in the Hammon Indian Community Building. Nellie Ann Littleman was born January 30, 1946 to Lewis Littleman and Cootsie (Hayes) Littleman and was given the Indian name, "Pawnee Women". She passed away early Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in her Hammon Home. Nellie Ann was raised and attended school in the Hammon. She continued her education at the Okmulgee Technical School and she also attended the American Indian Bible College in Phoenix, AZ for two years. She made her home back in Hammon where she helped to organize and build the Indian Assembly of God Church in Hammon. She was active by teaching Sunday school and attending to the church nursery. She worked for the Hammon Public Schools as a teacher's Aide and she worked in the housekeeping department for the Bell Nursing Home in Elk City. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing BINGO. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson son, Deon Rivers, sister, Dorothy Rivers, brother Leroy Horn and adopted brother Perkins Fisher. She is survived by daughter, Shannon Reyes and husband, Danny, Hammon, OK adopted daughter, Rosemary Amendaiz, Elk City, OK; two adopted sons, Aaron Rivers, Weatherford and Frank Rivers, Clinton; two sisters, Irene Hayes, Hammon and Margaret Howlingwolf, Weatherford; six adopted sisters, Ruth Higgins, Hammon, Bernice Bull, Clinton, Viola Hatch, Canton, Charlene Mendoza, Thomas, Norma Fisher, Clinton, Doreen Watan, Weatherford and an adopted brother, Tyler Hoffman, OKC, OK. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Aaron Littleman and Sierra Littleman and husband, Jose Hernandez, both of Hammon.
