Ricky Wayne Roof passed away October 27, 2022 at the age of 49. He had many friends and was a well loved member of the community in Clinton.
Funeral Service for Ricky Roof, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Ross Foster. Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. The Avenue church will be hosting a meal for family & friends following the services. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his wonderful life.
Rick worked many jobs and trades thru the years including in the oilfield, Ozzy Electric and Optic Cable company, and WW out of Thomas, OK.
Ricky also had many hobbies, cooking, gardening, listening to music, and fishing. Ricky played and won in many poker tournaments throughout the state in his lifetime. He was an active member of The Avenue church and baptized in 2019. Ricky also helped many in their struggles with sobriety throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Clifford Clifton Roof, maternal grandmother, Sadie Wells, maternal granddad, J.C. Griffin, paternal grandparents Cecil and Hattie Roof, Aunt Janet Adams, Aunt Dorothy Adams and Uncle Jacky Wolfe.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Roof, Newcastle, OK, two daughters, Mackenzie Franklin and husband, Taylor, Norman, OK, Rachel Roof, Elmore City, OK, brother, Tommy Roof and wife, Brandi, Newcastle, OK
He is also survived by two grandchildren, Cliffton Franklin and Aurora Franklin, both of Norman, OK, several nieces and nephews, Lexi, Hatti, Collin, Tucker, Turner, all of Newcastle, and Trey of Houston.
