Ruth Ann Gauger

Ruth Ann Gauger, 73, Clinton resident passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. The family is honoring her wishes and there will not be a service at this time. She is in the care of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home Ruth Ann (Travis) Gauger was born January 27, 1949, and honored Gordon E. Travis and Selma (Sigle) Travis by being their daughter. She was raised in Clinton and graduated f rom Clinton High School in 1967 and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. She married Roger Randal Gauger on March 1, 1968, in Clinton. She is a member of the First Baptist Church, she loved to garden, do crafts and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Selma Travis, brother, Larry Bassinger and two sisters, Jo Ann Tracey and Alice Strickland. She is survived by her husband, of the home, two sons, Bob and Wife, Jackie, Temple, TX and Travis Gauger, Clinton; brother, J.D. Tavis and wife, Wanda, half-sister, Joyce McDaniel, Caney, KS, two half-brothers, Max Bassinger, and Donnie Bassinger, both of Spokane , WA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Logan Gauger, Temple, TX and Angela Gauger, Clinton, OK
