Alberto Gonzales

Funeral services have been set for Alberto Gonzales, age 87, Clinton resident, for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clinton, with Deacon Bill Hough officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery. There will be a rosary at the Kiesau memorial Chapel 6:30 P.M. Monday, September 29. Alberto was born in Pleasanton, Texas, on February 29, 1929 to Domingo and Christina Muniz, and passed away in his Clinton home, August 26, 2016. Alberto was raised in both Butler, and Pleasanton, Texas. He worked at the Clinton CO-OP, he did construction, farm labor, and picked and sold watermelon. Alberto was married November 17, 1963, to Victoria Garza. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by both parents, and his wife, Victoria. He is survived by 4 daughters, Connie Mendez, and her husband Lyn, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Christina Mendez, and her husband John, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mary Martinez, of Clinton, and Santos Gonzales, of Clinton, 3 sons, Toby Gonzales, and, his wife Rosario, of Alice Texas, Alberto Gonzales Jr., of Clinton, and Manuel Gonzales, of Clinton, 20 grandchildren, 2 of them are Joel and Dominic Martinez, and 2 great grandchildren.
