Alecia Kay Mcginnis

A funeral service for Alecia Kay McGinnis, 62, former Clinton resident, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the Stanley Lee Chapel, 112 South 7th Street, Clinton. She will be cremated following the service. She will be ready for viewing at 10 am until 5 pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Stanley Lee Funeral Home. Alecia Kay was born May 3, 1952 in Clinton, Ok to Sly and Vera Warrington. She passed away in Oklahoma City on Friday, January 16, 2015. Her parents were former managers of the Post House Restaurant at the Clinton Greyhound Bus Station. Alecia attended school Clinton, Ok. When living in Clinton, she helped with the preparation of the Thanksgiving meal for the community. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She became a prayer warrior on Facebook. She is survived by her husband, Wayne McGinnis, three daughters: Ruth Ann Span, Veronica Gilliam and Alta McGinnis; and twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sly and Vera Warrington; two grandsons: Sly Gilliam and Dustin McGinnis and one sister.
