Alfonso Castillo

Funeral services for Alfonso Castillo, 88, longtime Arapaho resident will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church officiated by Father Rex Arnold and burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Alfonso Castillo was born August 3, 1923 to Reyes and Florencia (Loredo) Castillo in Gregory, Texas and passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Intregris Clinton Regional Hospital. Alfonso was raised and attended school in Laredo and Monterrey Mexico. He continued his education at OU Paralegal Program. He married Miss Marcelina Castro and they made their homes in Granite and Arapaho. Alfonso worked for the Unemployment Office helping migrant workers. He also was a member of SWODA, several Hispanic Organizations, St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marcelina and one brother. He is survived by one son Reyes Castillo and a daughter Juventina Castillo; two grandsons Nicholas Castillo and Marco Solis and one granddaughter Jesica Solis and one great granddaughter Addy Mach all of Clinton.
