Funeral Services for “A.J.” Isaak, 81, Arapaho resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 29, 2019 in the Arapaho Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Don Lacy. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Allen John “A.J.” Isaak was born July 26, 1938 to Allen Eldon Isaak and Lena Louise (Nickel) Isaak in Custer County, OK and passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 in the Alliance Health Clinton. A.J. was raised in the Stafford area and graduated from Stafford High School in 1957. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and spent three years active duty and then he enlisted in the National Guard doing another three year stint. After his discharge from the Army he began a career being a electrician and had worked for Ike Fransen, Lin Manufacturing, Terry Elston Electric and retired from Bar-S Foods. He was married to Lana Wright-King on December 24, 1991 in Clinton, OK and they made their homes in Lawton and Arapaho. He was a member of the Arapaho Baptist Church, Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Hub City Squares, Clinton Round Up Club, the Arapaho Sr. Citizens; he loved to travel spending time all of the U.S. as well as going to Mexico and Canada; He enjoyed horseback riding rodeos building furniture, playing the guitar and spending time with the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Penny Marie Isaak and a son Johnny Isaak; three brothers, Gene Isaak, David Isaak, Jimmy Wayne Isaak and a sister Betty Lou Isaak. He is survived by his wife, Lana, of the home, two sons, Kenny Isaak and his wife, Jamie, Miami, OK and Bobby King and his wife, Sherre’, Marlow, OK, a daughter Toni Escelara and her husband Javier, Yukon, Ok, brothers and sisters, Ruby Richardson, Choctaw, OK, Clarence Ray Isaak, Mangum, OK Deloris “Dee” Waddle, Clinton, OK, Eunice Kay Chambers, Eakly, Ok, Carolyn Sue Ziegenfuss, Canute, OK, Barbara Ann Isaak, Butler, OK and Roger Isaak, Custer City, OK . Brother in law, Bill Ray, Custer City, OK and sister in law, Connie Boelen, Cyril, OK; Uncle and Aunt Carl and Fern Shepherd, Clinton. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Oklahoma Medical Research for heart or to the Gideon’s for Bibles.
