Alton Jan Riggle

Funeral Services for Jan Riggle, 77, former Clinton businessman, will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Arapaho, officiated by Pastor Wendell Folsom. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Alton Jan Riggle was born August 24, 1938 to Matt and Mattie (Austin) Riggle in Stafford, OK and passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 in the Alliance Health Clinton in Clinton, OK. Jan was raised in Stafford and graduated from Stafford High School in 1957. He had numerous businesses in Clinton including the 4th Street Grocery, the Blue Pig and the Frisco Grill as well as working for the CTC for over 15 years. He retired in January of 2016. Jan married Carolyn Sue Johnson in October 2002 in Cherokee, North Carolina. He was previously married to Mary Katherine Dawson in 1958 in Stafford, OK. He was an active and faithful member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, he was an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams were the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packer. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Maudine Riggle and a granddaughter, Ellie Sue Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home, three daughters, Janet Fuentes and husband, Paul, Clinton, Cheryl Jaquez, OKC, OK and Doris Johnson, Cherokee, NC, three sons, Danny Riggle, Clinton, Ronnie Johnson and wife, Misty, Cherokee, NC and Charlie Johnson, Clinton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
