Alvin Earl Chatman

Funeral services for Alvin Earl Chatman, 58, of Okla. City, will be held 1 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014, in the Bethany Baptist Church of Clinton, with Rev. Lawrence Smoots officiating. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home. Alvin was born February 5, 1955, in Clinton, OK, to Leroy and Irene (Woods) Chatman, and passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2013, in Clinton. Alvin grew up in Clinton and graduated from High School here. In his spare time he enjoyed junking, hunting, and playing sports. He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Chatman and a brother Lawrence. He is survived by his mother of the Clinton home, 2 sisters Edna Chatman and Doris Narciss, and 6 brothers: Robert, Wilber, Larry, Gary, Clifford, and Leroy Jr.
