Funeral Services for Amber Cox., 46, Clinton resident will be held, Monday, August 23, 2021 11:00 A.M. in the Cornerstone Church, officiated by Rev. Jared Nunes and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Amber Dawn Cox was born June 24, 1975, to William Robert Phipps and Belinda (Neeley) Quan in Altus, OK and passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, in the Alliance Clinton in Clinton, OK. Amber was raised in Dallas/Fort Worth area an attended Crowley Texas High School in 1995. She married Edward J. Cox April 24, 2004 in California. They moved to Clinton, OK in 2007 and she has been employed with Clinton Public Schools and Arapaho Public Schools as well as dong Home Health Care Services. She was a faithful member of the Cornerstone Church; she loved animals and rescued many and she operated a spading and neutering clinic. She also enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her father, William Robert Phipps and Grandfather, James Neeley. She is survived by her husband, Ed, of the home, daughter Shay Smith, El Reno, OK, her parents, Gene, and Belinda (Sam) Quan, of California, sister, Lisa Miller and husband, Mike, Eufaula, OK and brother Chris Fowler and wife Christa, of Cullman, Alabama. Sister Genie and husband James Corral of Rio Vista, California and brother JR Quan of Freemont, California and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
