Andrew Nicholas Maples

A Memorial Service for Andrew Maples, 26, Burns Flat resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the Burns Flat High School Auditorium officiated by Dwight Shepherd and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Andrew Nicholas Maples was born July 1, 1995, to Fernando Sambrano and Cherity Maples in Clinton, OK and passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Great Plains Medical Center in Elk City, OK. Andrew was raised in Burns Flat and graduated from Burns Flat High School in 2014. While in High School he was active in sports, especially football. He worked as Delicatessen Manager for Wal-Mart in Pampa, Texas and later in Weatherford, OK. He most recently was employed with his dream job at Keith’s Butcher Shop in Burns Flat, OK. He was married to Destiny Paige Bishop on May 11, 2019, in Lone Wolf, OK. They have made Burns Flat their home. He is a member of the Living Waters Church in Burns Flat and enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing and grilling out for family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carla Maples, grandmother, Bobbie Salas, Aunt Teena Emmons and Cousin, Taylor Greenfield. He is survived by his wife, Destiny, of the home, parents, Cherity Maples and husband, Michael Salas, Burns Flat, OK his father, Fernando Sambrano and wife, Davon, Clinton, OK; sisters, Lilly Salas, Dhalia Mercedes Acevedo, Anehelicia Rubio, Benington, OK Alijandra Sambrano all of Clinton, OK; brothers Xavier Salas, Burnsflat, OK, Christopher Lopez, Amarillo, TX; maternal grandfather, Kem Maples, Dill City, OK; paternal grandparents, Hector Sambrano and Diania Barraca, both of Clinton. He is also survived by mother and father in law Bryant and Misty Crider, Weatherford OK, Aunt “ BOO BOO” Jenifer Maples, Pampa, TX, Brother-in-Law, Jason Bishop and wife McKayla, Thomas, OK; Sister in law Timber Bishop, Weatherford, OK Nephews and nieces, Lokin Bishop and Maely Murphy; cousins, Alazay Maples, Addison Maples, Raiden Salas and Emberlyn Salas and not to leave out his four-legged family, Fletcher (Pit Bull) and Rex (Yorkie), and many other loved ones.
