Funeral Services for Arloene Dick, 70, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Roland Youngberg and burial will conclude in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Arloene Joan (Littke) Dick was born June 17, 1943 to Adolph W. and Frieda (Intemann) Littke in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Dick was raised in Bessie and attended Bessie Schools as well as Clinton Schools where she graduated in 1961. She soon married Gilbert Dick on August 6, 1961 in Bessie, OK. She began a working career at the Saltzman Flower Shop and continued working there when it changed owners and became Flowers by Peggy. She was theClinton High School Secretary and she helped generations of students go through. She retired in 2008 and had over 30 years of service. She was attending the First United Methodist and had been a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie for many years. She was a past president of the Junior Service League and was involved in the JaceeJaynes. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, A.J. Littke. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Dick of the home, two sons, Duane Dick and his wife, Debra, of Clinton and Alan Dick and wife, Sheila, of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, RaymaBalzer and husband, Jim of Cordell and Nancy Sheppard, and husband, Kermet, and sister-in-law Patricia Littke all of Clinton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Justin and wife, Shayla, of Edmond, Savana, Caleb, Sierra and Caden all of Tulsa and numerous nieces and nephews.
