Arthur Therman Son

Funeral Services for Therman Son, 93, Arapaho resident will be held 2:00 P.M, Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Dean Brookshier and burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Arthur Therman Son was born May 7, 1920 to Arthur E. andElvora (Hook) Son in Shawnee, OK and passed away in his Arapaho, OK home Thursday, June 27, 2013. Mr. Son was raised in Rush Springs and the Marlow area and he attended Sterling School. He was married to Louise Stewart on February 18, 1939 in Rush Springs, OK and they made their first home in Rush Springs. They moved to Clinton and Arapaho area in 1943. He was employed with R.B. Strong Ranch, the Railroad and he worked 10 to 15 years for the Nelson Grain Company. He retired from the Oklahoma State Highway Department after 35 years in 1985. He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers, Herman, Clyde, Clarence, James and a sister, Lillie. He was a member of the Baptist faith; he enjoyed the outdoors, loved to garden, fish and he enjoyed going to auctions and antiquing. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jane Kiehn, Clinton, three grandchildren, David Heinrichs and wife Gayla, Drummond, OK, Dean Heinrichs and wife, Yvette, of Peru and Christye and husband, Michael Steigman, Clinton, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Lucille Davis, Marlow, OK
