Funeral Services for Audrey Scarberry-Bolar, 95, former Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 29, 2018 in the Kiesau memorial Chapel, officiated by Patrick Peters. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, Oklahoma under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Audrey May (Wilson) Scarberry-Bolar was born May 17, 1923 to Robert Garfield "Gar" Wilson and Beulah (Hufford) Wilson in Leedey, OK and passed away early Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Sienna Care Center in Midwest City, OK. Audrey was raised on the family farm near Leedey. She attended grade school in Aledo and then graduated from Butler High School in 1942. She married Mr. Carroll W. Scarberry on August 31, 1946 in Amarillo, TX. They made their first home in Clinton and she owned the Pee Wee Grill and worked at Marshalls Cafe as well as Pop Hicks Restaurant, TG&Y and S&D Drug. They moved to Thomas Oklahoma where they owned and operated the Elite Cleaners. They later moved on to Enid, Oklahoma where they operated Carroll's Champlain Service Station. Mr. Scarberry passed away in 1987 and she returned to Clinton. She again worked for S&D Drug. She later married Garold Bolar in 1993 and they made their home in Clinton and he preceded her in death in 1996. She has made her home in the Edmond/Midwest City area for the last 17 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a member of CWF. She belonged to a Rook Club that played on Thursday nights and many bowling leagues; she was a cook at the Senior Citizens Center in Weatherford and she served over 6000 hours with Clinton Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting and playing cards. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Thelma Hughes and Ocie Christensen and two brothers, Melvin Wilson and Russell Wilson and step son, Rickey Bolar. she is survived by three daughters, Billie Bozarth and husband, Gary of Midwest City, OK, Linda Millstead and husband, Leon Osburn, of Edmond, OK and Sherri Rosebeary, and husband, Bill of Midwest City, OK brother, R.G. Wilson and wife, Geri, Clinton. She is also survived by eight grand children, Diana Edwards and husband, Kent, Christie Holland and husband, Jeff, Dustin Bozarth and wife, Lisa, of Midwest City, OK, Jimmy Millstead, Jeffrey Millstead and wife Tiffani, Richardson, TX, Dawnalee Stacy and husband, Jimmie Wigley, of Midwest City, OK, Trevor Rosebeary of Eufaula, OK and April Claborn and husband, Brian, of Jones, OK and 12 great-grandchildren and her first great-great-granddaughter is due in January. She also has four step-children, Linda Vess, OKC, Beverly Bolar, Connie Cabaniss and husband, Roger, all of Clinton and Penny Burgess and husband Rick, Piedmont, OK and step daughter in law, Mrs. Rickey (Robin) Bolar, Weatherford.
