Memorial Services for Bea Moore, 93, former Clinton resident, currently of Marlow, OK will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Dale Nease and family members. Burial will be held prior in the Parkersburg Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Beatrice Bethel (Cruson) Moore was born November 15, 1923 to George W. and Cordilla (Cheatham) Cruson in Depew, Creek County, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 in the West Wind Assisted Living Center in Marlow, Oklahoma. Bea was the fifth of 13 children being raised in Okemah, OK. She graduated Clinton High School. Bea married Ancil F. Moore December 2, 1942, moving to California, where she worked for Vultee Aircraft. Later the Moore's moved to Richmond, CA, where Bea was hired on with the Kaiser Shipyards. She was a Rosie Riverta and helped build the Liberty Ship that took troops overseas. Bea was also a member of the Rosie's organization in Oklahoma where she was honored for her service and was recognized for her dedication on Veteran's Day. In 1946, Bea moved back to Clinton, OK. She held numerous jobs while supporting her family, manager of Montgomery Ward's, Dental Assistance for Dr. Hugh Hays, owned and operated the Dairy Hut and for the Oklahoma State Employment Office in Clinton for 12 years before her retirement in 1984. Bea was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Clinton and the American Legion Auxiliary. Bea loved gardening, country music, fishing, playing cards and dominoes, also attending their grandchildren's athletic activities. She also enjoys reading, bowling on Wii, shopping and going out to eat. Bea moved to Duncan in 2014, and moved into Westwind Assisted Living in Marlow, OK where she enjoyed fun outings, dinner parties, being named the Corn Champion, playing Dominos and just being her independent self. She was named Resident of the Month in May 2014 and the center's Valentine Queen this past February. Bea is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ancil, daughter, Marsha Taylor, granddaughter Julie Siess, brothers, Clarence Cruson, George Cruson, Cleo Cruson, Jack Cruson, three sisters, Willie Lee, sister, Lorene Ayers, Millie Cruson. Bea is survived by her daughter's Colleen Laymon, Segin, TX, Jolleen Palmer, Burlington, KS, Sue Siess and husband Larry, Duncan, OK, son George Moore and wife Judy, Butler, son-in-law Ronnie Taylor, Clinton. She is also survived by John Laymon, Chris Laymon, Jamie Siess, Julie Siess, Greg Taylor, Heather Chabino, Chuck Siess, Josh Moore, Amber Sawatzky, Rebecca Palmer, Ronald Palmer, Regina Kewley and Raquel Palmer and numerous Great and Great-Great Grandchildren.
