A funeral service for Ben H. Ramsey, 48, Sayre resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Sayre Church of Christ, officiated by Billy Clabaugh and burial will conclude at 3:30 P.M. in the Antioch Cemetery, North East of Butler, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Ben Howard Ramsey was born January 5, 1964 to Franklin Delano Ramsey and Judith Rea (Hadzor) Ramsey in Elk City, OK and passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Sayre Hospital in Sayre, Oklahoma. Ben was raised in Sentinel, Oklahoma and graduated from Sentinel High School in 1982. He continued his education on a Bull Riding Scholarship at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. He began his working career driving a truck, he also worked in the oil fields before moving to California where he ran a Wrecker Service as well as driving and delivering produce up and down the coast. He moved back to Oklahoma and started driving trucks across country. In 2008 he started working for Hampel Oil Company and was employed at the time of death. He was married to Tama Lue Bruner on June 10, 1995 in Butler, OK, He was a long time faithful member of the Church of Christ; an avid Oklahoma University Football fan; he loved to cook and make big dinners for his family; he enjoyed bull riding, golfing, dirt biking and was a big fan of Lane Frost who was an outstanding bull rider. His passion in life was spending time wit his kids and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Tama, of the home, three daughters, Ashley Brewer and husband, C.J., Sayre, Megan Perez and husband, Martin, Ukiah, CA and Danielle Sargent and fiancée, Jack Wegner, Sayre, OK and two sons, Denton Ramsey, Ukiah, CA and Wyatt Ramsey, of the Sayre home; his parents, Delano and Judith Ramsey, Butler, sister, Teresa Bridge and husband, Donald, Elk City. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Joshua Dungan, Colton Vidaurri, Carter Brewer, and Jessie Perez; niece and nephew, Tara Parks, Sayre and Dawson Bridge, Elk City.
