A Chapel Service for Bennie Lee Hester, 55, former Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 14, 2014 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Larry Cato and Rev. Tyrone Lewis. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Benny Lee Hester was born January 22, 1959 to Joann (Murphy) and Bennie Lee Coward in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, OK. Benny was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1967. He has made his home in Elk City and Oklahoma City. He had dedicated his life in helping others. He has worked with the Oklahoma City Compassion for the past 20 years, an organization that helps the homeless, drug addicts and leads lost souls to Christ. He was a man that would give you the shirt off his back. He was a minister of the Church of the Nazarene and his hobby was just helping others. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Hester, his father, Bennie Lee Coward, and a sister, Judy Lister. He is survived by his wife, Susan of the Oklahoma City home, three sisters, Glenda Atkins, of Clinton, Linda McCarty, of California, and Cassandra Lister, of Georgia and eight brothers, Johnny Lee Hester, of Clinton, Frankie Hester, of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Hester, of Oklahoma City, Ira Hester, of Oklahoma City, Ronald Lister, of Clinton, Bobby Hester, of Clinton and Tyrone Lister, of Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
