Funeral Services for Bernice Hicks, 80, Associate Minister of the Abundant Life Church, will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Abundant Life Church, South 18th and Hayes, officiated by Rev. Arther Carpitcher and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Taditional Wake Service will be held 7:00 P.M., till 9:30 P.M., Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the Abundant Life Church. Bernice Gayle Hicks was born April 5, 1938 to Will S. Wilkerson and Edith (Crawford) Wilkerson in Alex, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in her Clinton home. Sister Bernice was raised in Oklahoma City where she graduated high school. She was married to Pastor Ramus Hicks on September 10, 1990 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Clinton and have ministered at the Abundant Life Church until the present. She was very involved in her church, she enjoyed sewing, collecting and re-constructing dolls; she loved music and played the key board and was well known for her good cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Sean Morrissey and a brother. She is survived by her husband, of the home, daughter, Mary Guzman and husband, Jose, OKC, OK and two sons, Billy Morrissey, of Kansas and Brian Morrissey, OKC, OK and a step son, Ramus Hicks, Jr., Altus and a sister, Yvonne Dobson, Moore, OK. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
