A Graveside Service for Bettie Hatfield, 82, former Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Hydro Masonic Cemetery Chapel, officiated by Patrick Peters and burial will follow under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Bettie Jean (Garner) Hatfield was born February 27, 1932 to Wilbur Silas Garner and Mary Lou (Rothell) Garner in Burleson, TX and passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Summit Living Center in Okeene OK Home following a battle with cancer. She was a loving mother and grandmother who is soaring wit Angles to Heaven. She was reunited with many beloved family members and friends. Bettie was married to Lynn Jones on December 24, 1949 in Roswell, New Mexico. To this union three children were born. She loved her home and was a fabulous cook; her big country breakfast was a desired favorite of her family; her fruit cobbler was a favorite of her great grandchildren. She was always kind to everyone who entered her life and enjoyed being with her family and friends. It is great sadness to let her go, but joyous that her struggles with cancer are over. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, a brother and a sister. She is survived by her three children, Deborah Ralston, of Okeene, OK, Stanley Jones and wife, Linda, of Wister, OK and Beckie Thiessen and her husband, Tim, of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by six grandsons, five granddaughters, five great grandsons and nine great-granddaughters.
