Betty Joann Hammond

Funeral Services for Joann Hammond, 88, former Clinton resident will be held 10:00 Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial, Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Betty Joann (Rexer) Hammond was born February 27, 1933, to Paul Eugene Rexer and Lillian (Evans) Rexer in Conway, AR and passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Joann was raised partially in Little Rock, AR and California. She was married to Theodore B. Hammond in Las Vegas, NV on November 18,1961. They moved to Clinton in 1977 and owned and operated a Saltwater disposable Company in which she was the Bookkeeper. She enjoyed painting, listening to music, reading, and traveling with her daughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Paul Hammond. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Hammond, OKC, OK and two sons, Mike Henry and wife, Pam of Prosper, TX, and Ted Hammond, both of Texas.
