Funeral Services for Betty Jones, 80, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in the Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Charles Murphy and Sandy Shepherd. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Betty Lou (Graves) Jones was born November 10, 1935 on the family farm in Dill City, Washita County to C.B. and Agnes (Kennemar) Graves and she passed away on Friday April 8, 2016 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK. She was raised on the family farm west of Dill City, OK, graduated from Dill City High School in 1954 and moved to Clinton when she married Roy Jones, Sr. on July 1, 1954. Betty was employed by various retail businesses in Clinton and worked for Clinton Public Schools for over 16 years and retiring in 1998. She was a longtime faithful and active member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, farm life and spending time with her family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Doris Burns, three brothers, W.C., Russell, and Wendale Graves, and a great-granddaughter, Maggie Dunn. She is survived by her husband of the home to whom she was married to for 61 years, 9 months and 7 days. Three sons, Roy Jones, Jr. and his wife Fonya, of Clinton, Randy Jones and his wife Amy, of Arapaho, and Ronnie Jones and his spouse Bob West, of Porter, OK, three daughters, Marsha McGuire of St. Louis, MO, Nancy Winter and husband Eldon, of OKC, OK and Linda Eggleston and husband Ron, of Texhoma, OK. Two sisters, Darlene Moore of Dill City, OK and Pearl Matlock and husband Ralph, of Yale, OK, and three brothers, Don Graves and wife Mary Jean, of Yukon, OK, Gene Graves of Phoenix, AZ and Ted Graves and wife Peggy, of Globe, AZ. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Grace Living Center and Shepherd Home Health & Hospice for their loving care.
