Funeral services for Betty Denney, 84 of Clinton, Oklahoma will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 1st, at Kiesau Memorial Chapel, Clinton, OK. A private burial will be in the Custer City Masonic Cemetery under the Direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Betty Susan (Miller) Denney completed her journey here on April 28, 2019 Sunday evening at Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was born January 19th, 1935 in Custer City, OK, to Clifford and Tina Mae (Graves) Miller. She was raised on the family farm north of Custer City. She attended Custer City School graduating in 1954. Betty furthered her education at Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, OK. After residing most of her years in Oklahoma City, she moved back to Clinton, OK where she made her home, and worked at Custer City School, The Clinton Veteran Center and finished her working career as an in home caregiver for many long time friends. She loved the outdoors, fishing, horses and gardening. She was a great candy maker and loved cooking. Betty enjoyed time with her grandsons. Her most favorite thing was to watch her grandsons' rope and play sports. Betty is Survived by a son, John Scott Denney and his wife, Caren Denney of Clinton, Oklahoma, one brother, Joe Miller of Newcastle, Oklahoma, one sister, Abbie Schoonmaker of Benbrook, Texas, two grandsons, Brady Denney and Dalton Denney of Clinton, Oklahoma, and one great granddaughter. Family will greet guest 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
