A visitation for Betty J. Williams, 66, Clinton resident will be held, 1:00 P.M., till 8:00 P.M., Sunday, October 11, 2020 in the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in Virginia. Betty J. (Harold) Williams one of 21 children was born January 3, 1954 to Arthur Harold and Georgia P. Whitmore in Virginia Beach, Virginia and passed away Friday October 9, 2020 in the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Betty was raised in Virginia Beach, VA and attended school at the Base I.D., VA. She also attended Oklahoma University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She was married to Ronnie Williams, Sr., on May 16, 1981 in Clinton. She was employed with Multi-County Youth Services and she retired from the Clinton Veterans Center after 17 years. She is a member of the United House of Prayer; her favorite things to do was watch a good western on television, play chess, have coffee and visit with friends. She was an avid Red Tornado Football fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Keith Landon and brothers and sisters, Lena Craddock, Roberta Gregory, Gladys Holmes, Carrie Cross, Allen Joyner, Oliver Joyner, Anies Joyner, Dorothy Harold, Eva Harold, Clinton Harold, Wayne Harold, Ozella Harold, Willis Harold and Zannie Harold. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie, of the home, two sons, Orlando Williams and wife, Shanoia, and Ronnie Williams, daughter, Twyla Williams, all of Clinton; two sisters, Alberta Knight, Pontiac, MI and Mable Franklin, Norfolk, VA,; three brothers, George Joyner, Jerry Joyner and Herman Joyner; and her great-aunt, Lottie James. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
