Billie Jo Morrison

Funeral Services for Billie Jo Morrison, 95, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the Clinton Church of Christ, 2601 Custer Ave., officiated by Patrick Peters. The burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Billie Jo (Robbins) Morrison was born December 9, 1928, to Eddie Robbins and Gussie (Powell) Robbins in Sentinel, OK and passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, in the River Valley Nursing Center.

Billie was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1946. She married Roy Morrison February 3, 1947, in Arapaho, OK. They made Clinton their lifetime home.

She began her working career in a local bank and soon had a long career working for Morrison Wholesale as their bookkeeper. She and Roy had several rental properties that they kept maintained.

She was a faithful, active, and longtime member of the Church of Christ. She loved to sing and was in a Church of Christ Singing Group that sang for funerals, weddings and several other events in Clinton and the surrounding communities. She enjoyed going to Bible Studies, the lunch bunch ladies’ group, and helping with a European Ministry. She was a collector of Hummel figurines, commemorative plates, and old coins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy Morrison, sister, Ruth Stafford and brother-in-law, Joe Stafford, and daughter in law, Judy Morris.

She is survived by son, Mike Morrison, Houston, TX, daughter, Carol McCathern and husband, Scott, Clinton, OK and four grandchildren, Sarah Galbraighth and husband, Adam, Noble, OK, Cayla Ray and husband, Aaron, Clinton, Brandon Morrison and wife, Linnen, and Matthew Morrison, both of San Antonio, TX, and four great-grandchildren, Dakota Palmer, Tyler McCathern, Lilly Morrison and Lexy Morrison and her close friend BobE. Gilbert, Clinton.

The family will  greet Guests 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday June 12, 2024 at the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home.
