Funeral services for Bobby Allen Pool, 75, of Weatherford, have been set for, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the South West Christian Church in Weatherford, with Pastor Doyle Warren and Pastor Carlton Gregory officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2016, in Texhoma, Texas. Bobby was born, March 18, 1941, in Vernon, Texas, to Walter E. "Bob" and Lucille (Wooten) Pool, and passed away Monday, June 21, 2016, at Corn Heritage Village, in Weatherford, Ok. Bobby married Jennifer Lyn Roberson, on February 26, 1981, in Washburn, North Dakota. Bobby was raised in the Vernon, Dalhart, and Dumas, Texas area, he attended school at Dumas, were he was a state runner-up at Golden Gloves Boxing. In 1961 he joined the Army, and served his country until he was Honorably Discharged in 1964. After his military career, he worked as a driller in the oilfield, in California, North Dakota, Wyoming, and later Oklahoma, where he settled in 1978. Then worked for Carlton Gregory Transmission Shop and A.W. Pool as a mechanic, and later owned and operated his own Mechanic Shop, and he retired in 1995. His passions in life were to fish, collect replica antique cars, and make cars fast. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Jimmy and Gary and a sister Twila. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, of the home, his sister Betty Brady, of Dumas, TX., two brothers Charlie Pool, of Clinton, and Jerry Don Pool, of Cordell, and several nieces and nephews.
