Memorial Services for Bobby Hoffman, 75, Clinton resident will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Bobby Douglas Hoffman was born to Roy Paul and Beulah Inez (Kelly) Hoffman on August 30, 1942, in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away quietly at his home in Clinton on Monday, December 4, 2017. Bobby graduated from Clinton High School in 1960 and Southwestern Oklahoma State University of Pharmacy in 1965. He began his career in healthcare at Oklahoma General Hospital in Clinton, first as an orderly during highs school and college, and then as a pharmacist upon graduation from college. He continued working for Clinton Regional Hospital as Director of Pharmacy until his retirement in 1998. After retiring from Clinton Regional Hospital, Bobby worked as a relief pharmacist across Western Oklahoma, and worked a number of years at the Homeland Pharmacy in Clinton until his true retirement a few years ago. Bobby met Florence Gayle Kelley of Carnegie, Oklahoma while working at Oklahoma General Hospital. They were married on December 30, 1961. They lived happily in Clinton, and raised sons Mycale Shane and Jason Scott. Bobby was a member of Masonic Lodge #33 and was a long time supporter of Boy Scout Troop 361 in Clinton. He also enjoyed acting and singing, playing parts in various Southwest Playhouse productions over the years. Later in life, Bobby became a world traveler, visiting Europe, Africa, South America, and Australia. He greatly enjoyed his time abroad, but always looked forward to returning home to his yard and flowers. He was a meticulous gardener and took great pride in keeping his home and yard pristine condition. He loved his grandchildren Jessica, SarahAnne, Chelsea, Chloe, and Charlie to no end, spoiling them and indulging their every wish whenever possible. He had a special fondness for his great grandson David Mycale. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Eugene Hoffman and Billy Hoffman. Bobby is survived by three brothers, Leon Hoffman, Gary Hoffman, and Charles Hoffman, all of Clinton, Oklahoma; one sister, Esta Mae Wedeking, of Escondido, CA; and his sons and their families, Shane and Pamela Hoffman, of Arlington, Texas, and Jason and Nicole Hoffman, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Bobby has five grandchildren, Jessica Hoffman, SarahAnne Hoffman, Chelsea Hoffman, Chloe Hoffman, and Charlie Hoffman; and one great-grandson., David Mycale Castillo.
