Funeral Services for Bonnie H. Garner, 93, longtime Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Broadway Heights Church, officiated by Rev. Buck Nicholson and burial will conclude in the Weatherford Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Bonnie Hazel Garner was born May 14, 1920 in Keota, OK and passed away early Friday morning June 7, 2013 in the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. Bonnie was raised in Keota, Oklahoma and graduated from Keota High School in 1938. She worked for a short time in a dry goods store. During WWII she was employed at Tinker Air Force Base in the Oklahoma City area where she worked on Airplanes. She married Carl W. Garner on August 17, 1946 in Ft. Smith, AR and they made their first home in Woodward. After the big Tornado hit Woodward back in1949 they moved to Clinton where she was employed with C.R. Anthony for almost 20 years. She retired in 1980 and began to travel with the Senior Tours. She was a member of the Broadway Heights Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, and AARP. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl in 1979, a daughter, Joice Williams in 2004 and a brother, Troy Luster. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Bates and husband, Dan, a grandson, Mark Williams and wife, Rhonda, two great-grandchildren, Dustin Williams and September Garcia and husband, Juan and two great-great-grandchildren Carys and Maya all of Clinton, OK.
