Funeral Services for Bonnie (Neufeld) Schapansky, 102, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 14, 2013 in the First Baptist church officiated by Doug Lewis and burial will conclude in the Greenwood under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Bonnie Leona Neufeld Schapansky was born October 4, 1911 to Pete and Anna (Friesen) Neufeld southwest of Weatherford, OK and passed away early Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. Bonnie grew up on the family farm 5 miles South of Weatherford, OK where she enjoyed life as well as working. In 1928 she met Herman Schapansky , her neighbor and school mate and friend. They married on July 29, 1928 in the South Cedar School House. They made their home in Weatherford and later moved to Clinton in 1952. She was active in the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Herman in 1987 and a son Leon in 1978. She is survived by two sons, Ray Schapansky, of Clinton and Roy Schapansky, of Ft. Worth, TX. Great Grandchildren, Aleshia, Casey, and Cody Meadows; Justin and Eric Welbourn; Aaron, Carley And Cara Ross, Jermie, Jessee and Joshua McGough; Danny, Brian and Craig Schapansky and Lacrecia Schapansky.
