Funeral Services for Bradley D. Shindler, 49, Arapaho resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 19, 2014 in the First Christian Chuch, officiated by Doyle Kinney and burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Bradley Dale Shindler was born March 18, 1965 to Bob Shindler and Carol (Fransen) Shindler in Garland, TX and passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Brad was raised in Clinton and Arapaho and he graduated from Arapaho High School in 1983. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. He was married to Leauna J. Lee in Arapaho, OK. They made their home in Clinton where he was employed at the Clinton Ready Ice. He also sold insurance and was a commercial minnow dealer. He was later married to Kathryn "Kathy" Weightman on August 20, 2008 in Arapaho, OK. He was presently a farmer/rancher between Clinton and Arapaho. He was an avid Pool Player and a member of the BCA Pool Association and the APA Pool Assiation, he enjoyed golfing and had won several golf tournaments in his class , water skiing, fishing, he held a advanced scuba diving certificate, he coached OK Kids baseball when his sons where young and his passion was his farming and ranching. He is preceded in death by his son, Blain in 2010, a brother, Glen Shindler, his maternal grandparents, Isaac and Ruth Fransen and paternal grandfather Arel Shindler. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home, a son, Brock Shindler, of Arapaho, his mother, Carol Fransen-Webb and step father, Dwight, of Clinton, and his father Bob Shindler and step mother, Sandra, of Rockwall, TX; sisters, Patti Johnson, of Rockwall, TX, Debbie Ballou, of Caddo Mills, TX and Nicky Webb and husband, John, of Pauls Valley, OK and Sheila Shaw, of Fate,TX and a brother, Russell Trotter and wife, Lynn, of Carrolton, TX; paternal grandmother, Hazel Shindler,of Texas and numerous other family members.
