Brenda Carol Embree

Funeral Services for Brenda Embree, 62, Weatherford resident will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiated By Clint Carter. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Brenda Carol Embree was born December 5, 1960, to Carrol Embree and Janice Green Anderson in Clinton, OK., and passed away early Sunday Morning,

December 3, 2023, in her Weatherford home.

Brenda was raised in Enid, Oklahoma, and graduated from Cherokee Parks High School in Enid Ok. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford, and work for over 30 years at Life Circle (formally Western Oklahoma Workforce, and Markham) where she retired. Also, she loved to volunteer at the Etc. Shop and help with Bible school.

Brenda loved to watch the movie “Frozen”, she loved to collect earrings, participating in the Special Olympics, her favorite color was purple, and she loved going to church and then going to Braum’s Ice Cream.

She was preceded in death by her biological father Carrol Embree, her Dad Donnie Anderson, brother Myron Embree, and her grandparents Callie and Clyde Green.

She is survived by her mother Janice Anderson of Cordell, sisters Stacia Anderson and her husband Steve of Cordell, Dionna Janssen and her husband Barry of Wichita, Kansas, and a brother Russell Anderson of Moore, OK.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Michelle, Tonya, and Katie and the staff of Jones Health Care, for taking such great care of her, and to Cheryl Bell for being her payee and friend.
