Brenda Christine Price

A Mass of Christian Burial for Brenda Price, 51, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Thomas Pudota. Burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Brenda Christine Price was born July 15, 1964 to Doug and Elaine (Hatcher) Fransen in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at her home east of Clinton. Brenda was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1982. She continued her education graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1988. While attended college, she worked part-time in the public accounting and in May of 1989, she successfully passed the CPA exam and became a Certified Public Accountant. She worked for a time in the Dallas area and later returned to Clinton where she joined the firm of Elaine L. Fransen, CPA. Brenda loved animals, flowers and the outdoors and in addition to working part-time at the accounting firm, she enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, cooking and mowing. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be sorely missed by all. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, Isaac and Ruth Fransen and Leon and Lucille Hatcher; her father Douglas Fransen; her nephew, Kevin Fransen and by Regi Price and Buddy Thomas. She is survived by her mother, Elaine, of the home, brother, Scott Fransen and wife, Anita; her sisters, Diane Smith and fiancé, Kenneth Heims and Cheryl Gregg, her nieces, Mindy Smith, Kaci Fransen, and Claire Gregg and her nephews, Ryan Fransen and Nicolas Gregg, She is also survived by step children, Scott and Boone Price, Mandy Skaggs and Jay Thomas; step-grandchildren, Valoncia, Zianne and Kason Skaggs and a special friend, Paul Stangl.
