Funeral Services for Caleb Thomas, 24, Corn resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, officiated By Pastors Earl and Brenda Edwards and burial will follow in the Corn Cemetery under the direction of the Keisau-Lee Funeral Home. Caleb Issac Thomas was born January 25, 1990 to Eugeneand Debra (Olson) Thomas in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 in the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX following a lengthy battle. Caleb was raised in Corn and attended Washita Heights while in the lower grades and then transferred to Cordell High School where he graduated in 2009. He was active in music and band where he received numerous awards and achievements.He was also active and enjoyed speech. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Cordell, he loved all types of music, singing and playing the drums, playing the guitar as well as the piano. Superman was his hero and he loved spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Debra Thomas, of the home two sisters, Rebecca Hope Thomas, of the home, Mary Juhree Jones, of Duncan and a brother, Joshua Michael Thomas, of the Home; his maternal grandmother, Patsy Jenkins, Appomattox, W. VA. He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt, David and Pam Friesen, Yukon and Uncle Randy Olson, Corn and cousins, Bridgette Heinrichs, Jennifer Friesen and Dalton Olson and numerous friends.
