A graveside service for Calvin Driscoll, 90, former Clinton City Councilmen, will be held 9:00 A.M., Friday, July 10, 2015 in the Clinton Cemetery officiated by Doug Lewis and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Calvin Lee Driscoll was born August 7, 1924 to Dudley and Maude (Clements) Driscoll in Custer County, OK and passed away May 31, 2015 in the Clinton Veterans Center in Clinton, OK. Mr. Driscoll was raised in Custer County and attended Custer City Schools. He entered in the U.S. Army on December 30, 1948 spending to terms and serving in the Korean Conflict. When returning home he married Joy Ann Dobbs on November 4, 1950 in Clinton. He spent most of his life as a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Earl Smith Ditching. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served on the Clinton's City Council. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, David Driscoll, three brothers, Roy, Dink and Alfred Driscoll, three sisters, Hazel Weese, Lois Horn and Verlena Thibodaux He is survived by his wife, Joy Ann, of the home, a daughter, Barbara Brinkley, of Clinton, two grandchildren, Joseph Brinkley of El Reno and Lee Ann (Brinkley) Miller and husband Stephen, of Clinton and two great grandchildren, Carson Miller and Brinkley Ruthann Miller, of Clinton, a sister, Vera Bea Wright, of Hobart, OK and special friends Mikie Driscoll and Bobby Ogle, of Clinton.
