Graveside Services for Carl Rice, 77, Clinton resident will e held 10:00 AM, Monday, October 9, 2023, in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, OK, officiated by Good Shepherd Chaplain, Kenneth Boggs and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

The visitation will be held 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Saturday and 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday.

Carl Edward Rice was born February 11, 1946, to John Henry Rice and Sallie Ann (Goins) Rice in Winchester, TN and passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in the River Valley Therapy and Living Center in Clinton, OK.

Carl had lived in many states before calling Clinton, OK his home. He married Audrey Johnson on February 11, 1990. He was employed with the Collin and Aikman Factory and later began a career and retired from the City of Clinton doing Maintenance.

Carl’s daily activities were enjoying his retirement and going to McDonald’s for his daily coffee. He loved working in his yard and tinkering with small projects.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, his siblings, Clara, Margaret and Herman and a son in law, Mark.

He is survived by his stepsons, Charles Hulett and wife, Susan, John Hulett and wife, Sue and step- daughter, Mary Holland, all of Clinton, OK

He is also survived by sister-in-law, Helen Heddlesten, Marlow, OK and eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
