Carl Wayne Lawson

Carl Wayne Lawson, 46, Bessie resident passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in his Bessie home in Bessie, OK. Carl was born April 1, 1972 to Carl E. Lawson and Tina Cordova in Clinton, OK. Mr. Lawson's request was to be cremated and a private service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Carl was raised in the Hydro, Weatherford, and Clinton area as well as in Louisiana. He attended his schooling while living in OK. He has been a truck driver most of his adult life. He was married to Jaquetta Johnson on November 14, 2014 in Manitou Springs, CO. He enjoyed long haul driving, traveling, and fishing, he loved music and playing the drums, and love spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Cordova, Aunt Pamela Cordova, Grandfather, Henry Lawson and Grandmother, Lily Cordova. He is survived by his wife, of the home, mother, Tina West, Clinton, father , Carl Lawson, West Monroe, LA, sister Evangelyn Post and husband, Jim, of Nebraska; brother, John T. Hickerson, III, of Lawton, OK; step daughters, Harley Delgado, Lawton and Talesa Lane, of Indian; son, Joseph Lawson, Lake Charles, LA, step son, Kevin Johnson and wife Tressa, Manitou, OK., He is also survived by nine grandchildren and host of cousins. The family has requested those wanting to contribute; donations will be acted at the funeral home.
