Funeral Services for Carlas "Mattie" Crawford, 48, Oklahoma City resident and formerly Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Bethany Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Lawrence Smoots and Rev. Billy Mucker and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Carlas Denise "Mattie" Crawford was born June 4, 1967 to Freddie Lee Crawford and Vera Mae (Favors) Crawford in Chillicothe, TX and passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 in the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. "Mattie" was raised and attended school in Clinton, Oklahoma and in California. She had been employed as a telemarketer for a number of years in Edmond. She was also a Certified Nurse's Aide. She was a member of the Gospel Light House in Oklahoma City. She was very active and full of life, she enjoyed dancing, playing dominoes, and loved to play BINGO, talking on the telephone, she enjoyed cooking and eating cook food, playing with children, fishing; she loved music and liked to sing, and fishing, but her passion was doing things for and giving to others and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in life by, her parents, three brothers, Freddie Lee Crawford, Jr., Vincent Crawford and Christopher Crawford. She is survived by four sisters, Jerelyn Crawford, OKC, Joy Cutter, Katy, TX, Kenya Crawford, Clinton and Tina Crawford, of Oklahoma City; a brother, Mike Crawford, Clinton. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
