Funeral Services for Carolyn L. Bates, 63, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the Church of Christ, 2601 Custer Ave. Clinton, Ok, officiated by Patrick Peters and Ryan Driskill. Burial will conclude in the Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Carolyn Lou Bates was born March28, 1953 to Carl Wesley Garner and Bonnie Hazel (Luster) Garner in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Carolyn was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High school in 1971. She married Daniel Bates on June 4, 1971 in Clinton. She was employed with Lia Enterprises as office manager. She had also been employed as a secretary for Paul Kluver. She was a member of the Church of Christ and her favorite pastime was reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Joice Williams. She is survived by her husband, Dan, of the home and her church family.
