Funeral Services for Cathy A. Knight, 48, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the St. Pauls Episcopal Church, officiated by Father Bill Carlin. Burial will follow at the Mound Cemetery in Taloga, Oklahoma Cathy A. Knight was born August 17, 1970 to Richard and Carol (Thomas) Shrophire in Okeene, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday June 27, 2019 in the Deaconess Hospital Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Cathy was raised and attended school in Merritt, Oklahoma. She Married James Lee Simpson, Jr on August 19, 2016 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She most recently was taking on line courses for Legal Aide. She enjoyed making jewelry, fishing, camping and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her sister Jackie Biles. She is survived by her husband, James of the home, her parents, Richard Shropshire, of Madill Oklahoma and Carol Thomas, of Altus Oklhaoma daughter Ashley Hicks, Los Angles, California, two sons Rooster Shropshire, Clinton, Oklahoma, Shawn Todd Shropshire and fiancée Chelsie Quitoriano Clinton, Oklahoma, one brother Delbert Shropshire and wife Jan Mustang, Oklahoma. She is also survived by one Grandchild Tinzlin Grace Quitoriano Clinton, Oklahoma.
