Funeral services for Cedric Cryer, 70, Clinton resident, will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, with pastor Chris Wells “Preacher” officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Cedric “Turtle” Darvin Cryer was born October 6, 1951, to James Lester, and Edna Sara (Kolb) Cryer in Clinton, and passed away in his Clinton Home Wednesday May 25, 2022, on his brother Tims birthday. Turtle was raised in Clinton, and graduated Clinton High School in 1969. He moved to Guymon in 1974 and was self-employed as an electrician and in appliance repair. He and Mary Lou (Williams) were married, and he became a dad to Mike and Marty Smith. Later he returned to Clinton where he made his home and ran his appliance repair business. He enjoyed spending time with his Xodus motorcycle brothers, and spending most of his spare time riding his Harley Davison motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tim Cryer. He is survived by his sister Tabby Cryer of Clinton, two nieces Adrianne Conley of Del City, Shanna Vincent of Clinton, and two stepsons Marty Smith of Durant, and Mike Smith of Guymon.
