Charles August Schmueser

A Memorial Service for Charles Schmueser, Jr, 87, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2022, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Mandagiri Balaswamy and arranged by the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., September 2, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

Charles August Schmueser., Jr. Was born December 20, 1934, to Charles Schmueser, Sr. and Helen (Klein) Schmueser in Michigan and passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the Clinton Alliance Health.

Charles was raised in the Chicago area where he attended school and graduated in 1952. He married Barbara Morlick on September 24, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI. He soon enlisted in the U.S. Army.

He worked as a food processor for Bar-S Foods.

He is a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church; he was a very active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society; he enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. He was a very generous man and often helped other and would feed those in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert.

He is survived by his wife, of the home, his sister, Judith Schmueser, Chicago, IL and a host of nieces and nephews.
