Funeral Services for Charlie Moore, 63, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Peace Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Jerry Lamb. Burial will follow in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Bessie, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Charles Dennis Moore was born July 13, 1953 to Willard Charles Moore and Edna Ethel (Hill) Moore in Meridian, TX and passed away Thursday morning in the Alliance Health Clinton Emergency Room in Clinton, OK. Charlie as he was known by family and friends was raised in Texas, moving several times but he attended his high school years at Odessa High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his term during the Vietnam Era and then returned to the working field. He was employed with Phillips Petroleum in Houston, TX and then he became a contract welder and worked all over Texas and Oklahoma. He moved to Clinton on December 31, 1980. He was married to Marsha Ross on August 15, 1981 and they have made their home both in Arapaho and Clinton. While living in Clinton as well as doing contract welding he was employed with Collins and Aikman, Greco Oil Field Services in 1999 he began a career with Doanes Pet Care which later became Mars Pet Care and he was still employed at his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Cork and Rosa Ross, sister and brother-in- law, Barbara and Buster Hope, brother, Don Moore, sister and brother- in- law Joy and Don Elledge. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports and especially the Oklahoma City Thunder and in his younger years he loved to rodeo and he raised game roosters. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, of the home, daughter, Trista Sperle and husband, Brian, Clinton, Joey Moore and wife, Meagan, Clinton and Caleb Moore and wife Mindy, Arapaho; brother, Will Moore, Nacogdoches, TX and sister in law, Darlene Moore, Waxahachie, TX. His real passion was spending time with the 8 grandchildren, Cooper, Hardy and Marlee Sperle, Rylan Rance and Revlynn Moore, all of Clinton and Tinley and Dustin Moore, both of Arapaho.
