Funeral Services for Chester Old Bear, 64, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Clinton Indian Community Center officiated by Susan Hart and Delfred Whitecrow, Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. There will a traditional wake service, 6:00 P. M. till 10:00 P.M. Thursday, July 8, 2021 in the Clinton Indian Community Building. Chester Leforce Old Bear was born June 18, 1957 to Stanley Theok Old Bear and Angie Ruth (Black Wolf) Old Bear in Clinton, OK and passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in his Clinton home. Chester was raised in Clinton and attended Chilocco Indian School. He was employed with the Cheyenne/Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. He was an Antipater and was self employed. He served his tribe as a fire fighter and was an accomplished artist. He was a proud member of the Cheyenne/Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma; American Indian Movement (AIMS), he attended and helped with the Sundance; he enjoyed playing pool, doing Indian sculptures, beadwork and paintings. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Pauline; sisters, Patricia, Veronica, Lola, Mary, Regina, and Woxie and a brother, Stanley. He is survived by daughters, Regina, Sarah, Dena, Elaine, Clarisa, Woxie, Eshie and Anola and three sons, Shannon, Anthony and Theok; sister, Ramona Old Bear Welch. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
