Memorial Services for Christopher Terry, 42, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday November 26, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Roy Dobbs and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Christopher Allan Terry was born August 29, 1977 to Sam and Betty (Black) Terry in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in his Clinton home due to complications from his heart transplant. Chris was raised and attended school in Clinton. He started doing land surveying in 1997 working both in Texas and California. In 1999 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and was heavy decorated. He was chosen marine of the quarter, nominated for marine of the year; he was the only one in his squadron that was promoted to Sergeant while stationed in Iraq and also received a metal for saving his Staff Sergeants life. He worked with the military police; he was a sharp shooter and was handpicked for an elite team and served as commander of the L.A.V. Armored Vehicles. After his honorable discharge from the military he became a certified electrician and made his home in Clinton. He was married to Tammy Wolsey on January 1, 2008 in Arapaho, OK. He was preceded in death by his dad, Sam Terry and a brother, Bruce Terry and his grandparents. He was a member of the National Rifle Association; he enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, riding his Harley Davidson; shopping for electronics and body building. He is survived by his wife, Tammy of the home, daughter, Harlee Terry, Clinton and son Chase Terry, OKC, OK; mother, Betty Terry, Clinton; brother, Rick Terry and wife, Paula, Clinton. He is also survived by two nieces, Tayler Terry, Clinton, and Shyla Wilhite and husband Randal, Weatherford and their children, Hannah and Slade.
