A Mass of Christian Burial for Clements Klein, 93, Custer City resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Thomas Pudota. Burial will follow in the Anthon Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Rosary and wake service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday night in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Clements P. Klein was born September 18, 1922 to Adolph and Mary (Neyes) Klein on the family farm near Custer City, OK and passed away early Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, Ok. Clements has spent his entire life on the family farm near Anthon. He attended school in Independence School. He was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Force on November 11, 1942 serving during WWII as a Medical Administrative Specialist and was honorably discharged in February 1946 with the rank of Corporal. He married Hermina Huber on September 28, 1943 at the Anthon Catholic Church. They have celebrated over 72 years of marriage. They farmed and raised cattle together their whole married life. They each had their own tractor and worked side by side. Since Clements failing health he has been a resident of the United Methodist Health Care Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Lawrence Klein. He was a faithful member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church; he enjoyed doing carpentry and wood work and loved to drive the tractor. He is survived by his wife, Hermina, of the home; a daughter, Margaret Landrum and husband, Butch, Weatherford, OK and a sister, Rita Schimmer, Custer City, OK.
