Funeral Services for Clovis Sanders, 82, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the Custer Ave. Church of Christ under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Clovis Ladean Sanders was born March 3, 1931 to Alex and Fannie Belle (Printise) Sanders in Mangum, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Clovis was raised in the Mangum and Russell, OK area and graduated from the Wild Cat High School in Russell in 1949. He started his working career as the local Milk Man in Mangum working for Gold Star Dairy. He later moved to Oklahoma City and was employed with Townsley Dairy. He was married to Faye Halford on January 5, 1955 in Wellington, TX. They moved to Clinton, OK in 1967 where he served as store manager for Locke Supply for several years and retired in the 1990’s. He was preceded in death by his wife, a sister, Lorene Stoup and three brothers, Clem, James and Don Sanders. He is a longtime faithful and active member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Butry and husband, Bill, Arapaho and Cathy Miller and husband, Terry, Clinton, and a son, Steve Sanders, of Clinton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Schmidt, Travis Miller , Lori Merrill and Kelli Oliver and husband, Chase, all of Clinton and five great-grandchildren, Lexa Merrill, Jordan Schmidt, Andreya Miller, Leslie Merrill and Reigen Miller
