Funeral Services for Colin Walters, 17, Dill City teen will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in the Burns Flat/ Dill City School Gymnasium, officiated by Brad Whinery. Burial will follow in the South Burns Cemetery in Dill City under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Colin Andrew Walters was born November 11, 2004, to Corey Gee Walters and Molly Ruth (Six) Walters in Clinton, OK and passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Dill City, OK. Collins’ dad passed away when Collin was five years old, and his aunt Cathy Walters adopted and raised him. Colin was raised and attended School in the Dill City Burns Flat area. He was a member of the upcoming 2023 Senior Class. He was active in sports including basketball, golf, football. He was very involved with Future Farmers of America (FFA) where he served as an officer and enjoyed the competition of showing goats. He also was attending the welding program at Western Oklahoma Vo-tech in Burns Flat. After completing school his plans were to be an expert welder and owning and operating his own business. He was an active and faithful member of the Burns Flat Church of Christ where he served as song leader. Along with being a hard worker and helping others, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends as well as playing and being a role model to his cousin Bransyn. He was very involved in being a caregiver for his grandmother, he often took her on errands, took her to watch him play golf and just spend quality time with her. He is survived by his mom (aunt), Cathy Walters, of the home, his biological mother, Molly Six, Dill City, OK, two sisters, Courtney Lee Walters, Weatherford, OK and Cheyenne Six, Dill City, two brothers, Jerald Six, Dill City, OK and Tony Six, Drumright, OK, sister (cousin) Brooke Walters and Brian, Lone wolf, OK. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Carol Walters, Dill City, OK, aunt, Connie Lynn Ainsworth and husband, Alan, Fort Worth, TX and uncle Cobey Brant Walters and Amber, Enid, OK. He is also survived by numerous cousins.
